Hat Trick of Nominations for Webhelp in the 2016 NOA Awards

Leading global customer experience and business process outsourcing company, Webhelp, has received three nominations for this year’s prestigious National Outsourcing Association (NOA) Awards.

The NOA awards are in their 13th year of recognising and celebrating best practice in global outsourcing.

National Outsourcing Association CEO, Kerry Hallard said:
“This is without doubt the most competitive year ever in terms of submissions; the quality of case studies evidencing outsourcing excellence across aspects such as relationship and contract management, innovation, service delivery and collaboration has made the judging process an extremely challenging one. The winners will be announced on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the Intercontinental Park Lane in London.

 


WEBHELP NOMINATED FOR TWO CCA AWARDS

The CCA awards are in their 20th year of recognising and celebrating those companies who have achieved extraordinary success or individuals who have shown extraordinary leadership, passion and commitment.

The winner will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow on November 17.

 


Falkirk Team Scoops Top Title at Webhelp’s Annual Star Awards

The Webhelp UK Team of the Year award has this year been won by the People Services team, led by Falkirk-based Jim McKenna.

Jim, and members of the winning team from Falkirk and Gurgaon in India, learned of the team’s success at a gala James Bond themed dinner, held at the magnificent Hopetoun House in South Queenferry last night (Sep 8).

Webhelp UK CEO David Turner was on hand to present the award. He said:

“Under Jim’s guidance this year the People Services team has established a new shared services function across the UK and India operations. This includes a blend of senior people advisors and a people advisory service in our head office in Larbert, as well as a people administration service in Gurgaon, India. This has been a herculean task and Jim and his team have done a phenomenal job of establishing the service so successfully. I am delighted to be able to recognise the commitment, energy and dedication of this very hard working team by presenting them with this award tonight.”

The People Services team received an award and a cheque for £1,000.

 


Dunoon ladies recognised for Excellence at Webhelp’s Annual Star Awards

DUNOON, Sep 9, 2016 – Two local ladies have been recognised for their excellent work this year at Webhelp’s annual Star Awards.

Maria Dyer was awarded the title of Brightest Star of the Year and was chosen out of a total UK team of more than 7,000 for this prestigious award.

Another Dunoon colleague, Fiona McCartan, was a runner up in the Making a Difference category for her wonderful fundraising work for Dunoon Youth Club.

The awards were presented by Webhelp’s UK CEO, David Turner at a glittering James Bond themed gala dinner, held in the sumptuous surroundings of South Queensferry’s Hopetoun House, last night (Sep 8).

He said: “Maria has been in the business for three years and during that time has shown amazing development. She was picked by our client to be the main star of their internal marketing video to promote the benefits of her campaign. Maria has been a star that has burned very brightly this year and I am very excited to see what she will do next year. Congratulations to Maria and thank you to her for her excellent work this year.”

Speaking of Fiona’s fundraising efforts this year, David said: “This award was particularly hard to choose a winner for. Fiona has worked tirelessly and selflessly to support her local youth club and I am very proud to call her a Webhelp colleague.”

Maria received an award and a cheque for £1,000, while Fiona was presented with a bottle of champagne and a cheque for £500 for her charity, Dunoon Youth Club.

 


Recognition for Greenock colleagues at Webhelp’s Annual Star Awards

GREENOCK, Sep 9, 2016 – Three Webhelp colleagues from Greenock have been recognised for their excellent work this year at company’s annual Star Awards.

Lillian Hannah, was awarded the title of Shining Star of the Year and was chosen out of a total UK team of more than 7,000 for this prestigious award.

Another Greenock colleague, Lauren Carrick, was a runner up in the Brightest Star of the Year category and Kris Conway was a runner up for the Spirit of Webhelp award.

The awards were presented by Webhelp’s UK CEO, David Turner at a glittering James Bond themed gala dinner, held in the sumptuous surroundings of South Queensferry’s Hopetoun House, last night (Sep 8).

He said: “Lillian has a huge passion and energy for her job and that comes across to colleagues and customers alike. She recently achieved a personal best in her conversion scores and has been named one of three sales advocates in the Greenock site. She loves to talk to customers and we are very proud to have her as part of our wonderful team in Greenock.”

Lillian received an award and a cheque for £1,000. Lauren and Kris both received a bottle of champagne.

 


Kilmarnock Man Wins Top Title at Webhelp’s Annual Star Awards

Local man, Ryan Clannachan, has been named the Rising Star of the Year at the 2016 Webhelp UK Star Awards.

Ryan has worked for the leading global customer experience outsourcer at its site in Kilmarnock since Oct 2012 and was chosen out of a total UK team of more than 7,000 for this prestigious award.

Webhelp UK CEO, David Turner, presented Ryan with his award at a glittering James Bond themed gala dinner, held in the sumptuous surroundings of South Queensferry’s Hopetoun House, last night (Sep 8).

He said: “Ryan has made an outstanding improvement in his NPS scores this year and has received fantastic feedback from our client on his ‘exceptional telephone manner’.

“He has also become more involved with his team, supporting colleagues, answering questions and showing great flexibility to support the business. Having just graduated from university, he has increased his hours with Webhelp and been put forward to support the new Small Business Academy group. Ryan has a bright future here at Webhelp and I am very proud to be able to present him with his award and a cheque for £1,000.”

 


Glasgow colleagues scoop titles at Webhelp’s Annual Star Awards

GLASGOW, Sep 9, 2016 – Three Glasgow colleagues have been recognised for their excellent work this year at Webhelp’s annual Star Awards, held in the sumptuous surroundings of South Queenferry’s, Hopetoun House.

David Cooper and Katrina Horne took home two of the night’s top prizes, being named People Manager of the Year (non-team leader role) and The Spirit of Webhelp respectively. David and Katrina beat stiff competition from more than 7,000 Webhelp colleagues in the UK to clinch these titles.

Although he didn’t win this time, Kenny Scott was given a special mention as a runner up in the Brightest Star category.

The awards were presented by Webhelp’s UK CEO, David Turner at a glittering James Bond themed gala dinner last night (Sep 8).

He said: “Webhelp is only as good as the people we employ, so it is incredibly important to hear of and reward these great examples of excellence.

“David has excellent ideas that he works hard to bring to fruition, including new ways to incentivise, which the team has really responded to. He is very approachable and creative. He introduced an ‘Ask Cooper’ form to allow colleagues to ask him questions directly and improve communication. I am immensely proud to have David as part of the Webhelp family and am delighted that he has won this award tonight. But that isn’t all, because after five years in the business David has also just been promoted from operations manager to head of operations, financial services. Congratulations David!

“Our Spirit of Webhelp Award exists to recognise those unsung heroes in the business. Those people who work hard, show fantastic team spirit, support and encourage their colleagues and always have a positive attitude. Top Awards for Dearne Valley Colleagues at Webhelp’s Annual Star Awards

Two Dearne Valley colleagues have been recognised for their excellent work this year at Webhelp’s annual Star Awards, held in the sumptuous surroundings of Hopetoun House, just outside Edinburgh.

Claire McLoughlin and Christy Winfield took home one of the top titles each, Role Model of the Year (support role) and WOW Factor, respectively. Claire also led the team that scooped the night’s top prize, the CEO Special Recognition Award.

Claire and Christy beat stiff competition from more than 7,000 Webhelp colleagues in the UK to clinch these titles.

The awards were presented by Webhelp’s UK CEO, David Turner at a glittering James Bond themed gala dinner last night (Sep 8).

He said: “Webhelp is only as good as the people we employ, so it is incredibly important to talk about and reward these great examples of excellence.

“The WOW Factor award recognises someone who has achieved amazing results for the business. Christy has made a profound impression on the people she works with, being a great colleague, someone to have a laugh and air your concerns with while making sure the work gets done and the projects are delivered. “The Role Model of the Year title rewards our most inspirational or motivational colleagues, who display great leadership qualities. Claire has been with us as a project manager in our Infrastructure and Transition team for just over a year and has consistently gone above and beyond to deliver a number of key, high profile projects in often challenging circumstances. I am very pleased to be able to reward her excellent work with this award tonight.”

Claire also led the team who received this year’s CEO Special Recognition Award. David explained why he chose this team.

“This year I wanted to recognise some exceptional work by a virtual team which involved people from almost every part of our business in a very difficult, demanding and intense business project. I have selected this team because, not only have they successfully delivered a very complex project to exacting timescales, but they have done it in a way that exemplifies our values, commitment, integrity, unity and WOW!”

Claire and Christy were presented with an award and a cheque for £1,000 each. Claire also received a second cheque for £1,000 to share with the project team.

Cardiff colleague receives top title at Webhelp’s Annual Star Awards

CARDIFF, Sep 9, 2016 – Cardiff-based Dawn Wilson has won the Making a Difference Award at the 2016 Webhelp Star Awards for her work throughout the year raising money for Help for Heroes.

Dawn received her award from Webhelp UK’s CEO, David Turner, at a gala James Bond themed dinner, held at the magnificent Hopetoun House near Edinburgh, last night (Sep 8).

David said: “We all know someone who makes a difference and works hard all year supporting causes close to their heart. Dawn has worked tirelessly and selflessly this year to go the extra mile for Help for Heroes. People like Dawn can often go unrecognised, but Webhelp values the role both we as a business and our colleagues individually play in the community, so I am especially delighted to be able to give Dawn’s efforts a recognition from us in the form of this award.
