CARDIFF, Sep 9, 2016 – Cardiff-based Dawn Wilson has won the Making a Difference Award at the 2016 Webhelp Star Awards for her work throughout the year raising money for Help for Heroes.
Dawn received her award from Webhelp UK’s CEO, David Turner, at a gala James Bond themed dinner, held at the magnificent Hopetoun House near Edinburgh, last night (Sep 8).
David said: “We all know someone who makes a difference and works hard all year supporting causes close to their heart. Dawn has worked tirelessly and selflessly this year to go the extra mile for Help for Heroes. People like Dawn can often go unrecognised, but Webhelp values the role both we as a business and our colleagues individually play in the community, so I am especially delighted to be able to give Dawn’s efforts a recognition from us in the form of this award.
“I am delighted to present Dawn with two cheques for £1,000 each, one for her charity Help for Heroes and one to celebrate Dawn as an individual. Fantastic work Dawn, congratulations! We’re very proud to have you on our team at Webhelp.”
