Leading global customer experience and business process outsourcer, Webhelp, has recognised the top talent from across its UK sites at its seventh annual Star Awards.

CEO Special Award

There were 12 awards up for grabs and the winners were announced at a Cirque du Soleil themed gala dinner and party at Edinburgh’s The Hub.

The awards recognise excellence at a team and individual level and also celebrate those colleagues who have made a difference to their local communities.

David Turner, CEO of Webhelp UK, India and SA, said: “Our people are our most important asset. Without great people we wouldn’t be able to deliver the excellent levels of customer experience that we do for our clients and their customers, so I believe it is very important to reward the people in our business who are leading the way in this.

“It makes me extremely proud to hear the fantastic stories from all of the people nominated for these awards. These are truly committed and dedicated people and they are a credit to Webhelp.”

The winners each receive a cheque for £1,000 – and in the case of the Making a Difference Award, the charity also receives a cheque for £1,000. The runners up in the Making a Difference Award receive a cheque for £500 for their charity.
