Leading global customer experience and business process outsourcing company, Webhelp, is celebrating the naming of four of its South Africa colleagues as finalists in this year’s Contact Centre Management Group awards.

The CCMG awards celebrate best practice in South Africa’s customer experience industry and the outcome of the final ceremony is eagerly anticipated.

Sharon Haig, CEO of the CCMG, said : “These awards are all about rewarding and recognising those professionals who have made a difference in the industry and ultimately celebrating all that is great in this sector. It is about those companies, teams and individuals that have stood out, broken barriers and ruffled feathers with their unique approach and extraordinary innovations.”

Craig Gibson, CEO of Webhelp SA, said: “This has been an incredible 12 months for Webhelp. We have secured a number of fantastic new contracts and the introduction of international investment group, KKR, as our major shareholder in February, heralded an exciting period of acquisitions for us. Our group turnover has grown by 250% in the last four years and we expect the 2016 figure to be in excess of US$1bn. Winning a CCMG award would be a wonderful way of capping such a great period for Webhelp.

“Expanding at such an impressive rate, while at the same time maintaining our commitment to delivering consistently high levels of customer experience across our estate, is something that is very important to us. Having four colleagues named as finalists in prestigious awards like the CCMG awards is an endorsement that we are successfully achieving that aim.

“I would like to thank and commend our colleagues for their hard work and commitment and wish them luck in securing wins in the categories in which they are finalists.”

Webhelp’s nominations are as follows:
Best Contact Centre Operational Manager – Katja Alves
Best Contact Centre Sales Professional – Shu-aib Samsodien
Best Contact Centre Support Professional, Workforce Planning – Eugene De Gee and Zahir Harris

The final results will be announced at a gala Alice in Wonderland themed dinner, which is expected to attract around 500 attendees, on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Monte Casino Ballroom.
