Webhelp has picked up three awards at this year’s prestigious Contact Centre Association (CCA) Excellence Awards.

Taking home the Gold award for Excellence in Business Process Outsourcing Collaboration with Currys, the leading global customer engagement company also won Gold for Excellence in Skills Learning & Development for their Operational Learning Team, and a Silver award for QA & CX Team of the Year.

The CCA Awards, regarded as ultimate recognition for customer service excellence, innovation and best practice, were presented at a celebratory event in Glasgow on the 27th April hosted by Kay Adams.

Ben Faes, Webhelp UK Region CEO commented: “I would like to congratulate all the companies and individuals shortlisted at this year’s CCA Excellence Awards. I am delighted that in amongst this level of industry recognition, the incredible work that comes from our game-changers to provide the best service possible for our client’s customers, has been acknowledged.”

Webhelp’s partnership with Currys was formed in 2020 and is based on a shared vision and shared values. James Leech, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Currys said of the win: “We are very proud of our Partnership with Webhelp and the journey we have been on over the last 3 years and it was fantastic to be crowned Gold winners for Excellence in Business Process Outsourcing Collaboration at last night’s CCA awards in Glasgow. Thank you to everyone at Webhelp and Currys for the efforts and hard work on our journey so far, and I have more confidence than ever that we will achieve the collective goals of Partnership through this year.”

The Excellence in Skills Learning & Development award presented to the Webhelp Operational Learning Team was based on offering more when training colleagues. With their goal being to devise a programme that would enhance skills, this inspired the team’s mission to move away from training, to learning. In order to accelerate new, existing and future colleagues’ learning experience, the team then fostered an environment where the key contributions into the programmes development came from the end users.

Ben added: “We dedicated ourselves to the principle of creating learning development by the people, for the people. This might sound simple, but most innovation is just that, an adherence to the vision of doing something different.”

The Webhelp team were also shortlisted for the ESG Impact Award and Most Effective Workplace Health and Wellbeing Programme.

The CCA Excellence Awards recognise world-class professional achievement in customer service and are judged by a panel of experts from a range of sectors and specialisms.
