Webhelp Norway AS and Webhelp Consulting AS falls under the Norwegian Transparency Act of July 1, 2022. The Act applies to large Norwegian companies that are resident in Norway, and to foreign companies that provides products and services on the Norwegian market and are liable to pay taxes in Norway.
The law imposes the following obligations:
- A duty to carry out a due diligence assessment on its business and supply chain
- An obligation to publicly account how the company has carried out the due diligence assessment including processes and identification of risk
- A duty to inform upon request.
